Portal Game World – World of Warcraft Classic’s Season of Discovery is set to introduce significant changes by creating two new realms one for PvE (Player versus Environment) and another for PvP (Player versus Player). This move aims to consolidate all characters onto these new servers. Once these realms are established, players will have the opportunity to transfer their World of Warcraft characters to these new servers at no cost. Subsequently, the original realms will be closed to new players.
Season of Discovery represents a fresh approach to WoW Classic. Featuring class-altering Rune engravings, redesigned world bosses and raids, and entirely new dungeons. Blizzard is now preparing for the concluding stages of World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery by making another substantial change to its realms. According to a forum announcement by WoW developer GarnetHound. The goal is to unify all players in Season of Discovery onto a single server. To achieve this, Blizzard will create two new realms in each region—one for PvE and one for PvP. Players will be able to use the Free Character Transfer service to move their characters to these new “Mega-Realms” without any additional cost. However, while players can choose to remain on their current realms. New character creation on these original realms will be restricted.

Although consolidating players onto fewer servers is generally beneficial, the disruption caused by these changes has sparked some controversy.
