According to an official statement released on Friday, August 9, 2024, five teams from Indonesia will be competing in this FFWS SEA event. The five teams are EVOS Divine, Indostars, Onic Olympus, RRQ Kazu, and Bigetron Delta, the champions of FFWS Indonesia 2024.
As the tournament approaches, the group allocations for the Knockout Stage have been made. Group C has drawn attention, as it includes three Indonesian teams: EVOS Divine, Onic Olympus, and Bigetron Delta.
This means that an internal rivalry among Indonesian teams is inevitable in Southeast Asia’s most prestigious Free Fire competition. Meanwhile, Indostars is in Group A, and RRQ Kazu is in Group B.
The competition becomes even more intense as Indonesia will be hosting the Grand Finals of the FFWS SEA this time. This will undoubtedly serve as an additional motivation for Indonesian Free Fire teams to advance from the Knockout Stage.
The Knockout Stage is set to take place from August 16 to September 29, 2024. Each day of the Knockout Stage will see two groups compete, with a total of 12 teams.
From this phase, only the top 12 Free Fire teams will advance to the Final Phase to compete in Point Rush and the Grand Finals in Surabaya in October 2024.
